Wax Melt Warmer Information

Customers ask, "What's the best type of wax warmer?

There are typically 3 types of warmers:

1. Electric Plate Burner

2. Light Bulb Warmers

3. Tea Light Warmers

Personally, and this is just my opinion, electric plate burners rate #1. With a plate burner warmer, you are getting an even heat and a faster heat up time. Also you can remove the well and place a candle on the warmer plate and that will also heat and melt fast. The well where your wax melts go is usually larger on a heat plate warmer. Heat evenly and fast melt time.

Light bulb warmers are very popular now. They illuminate light and heat by a light bulb. A light bulb is not going to distribute heat evenly, usually the center will get the heat first and they do have to be replaced when they burn out. So you may have a bit slower heat up and replacing the bulb when it goes out.

Tea Light Warmers have an opening in the back where you would place a tea light and light it. It only makes sense that it is going to take a lot longer to reach the well and heat up your melt and also you have a flame. Tea light warmers, when lit, should be watched carefully and placed away from pets, children and drafts and large groups to prevent fire.

Recently warmers are being introduced with a timer. This way you can set how many hours you want it to be on and it will shut off automatically. Great Safety feature!

This is a heat plate burner, has a larger well and this one comes with a silicone liner for easy clean up. We will be introducing a warmer with a timer very soon and we also have illumination light bulb warmers.

*VERY IMPORTANT …Just like you shut off the lights and lock your doors when you leave your home, make sure your warmer(s) are off. It’s a safety factor. Just turn them back on when you come home!

  • When using any type of wax melt warmer, it's best to not burn your wax warmer for more than 4 hours at a time.
  • Use your wax warmer on a flat and stable surface.
  •  Keep away from children and pets.
  •  Do NOT add water or fragrance oils.
